Asian Academic ABS Forum – ABS Symposium 2023 – on 24th October!

1. About the Symposium

ABS Support Team for Academia, National Institute of Genetics will hold Asian Academic ABS Forum – ABS Symposium 2023 – on Tuesday, 24 October.

Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) relevant to the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Nagoya Protocol can entail different procedures according to genetic resource provider countries with different laws and regulations.

In this Symposium, government officials and specialists in charge of ABS from 7 Asian countries will gather in Tokyo and give presentations on the ABS rules of their own countries.
